House Rules

Please read our house rules before playing!
General Rules
  1. Only NERF blasters may be used in the arena.
  2. Modified NERF blasters may be used on certain days, as long as they don’t use CO2.
  3. Stay in the battle zone at all times while playing.
  4. When a time-out or stoppage of play is called, stop shooting immediately.
  5. Do not throw or drop NERF blasters, as they could be damaged or break.
  6. We do not tolerate any whining, complaining, or arguing. Any of these will result in a penalty from the game or an acceptable period of time.
Safety Rules
  1. No intentional head/face shots.
  2. Physical contact with other players will not be permitted. No pushing, pulling, wrestling, etc.
  3. Eye protection must be worn at all times while in a battle.
Equipment Rules
  1. Do not load or use damaged darts – they will jam your gun.  Put damaged darts in the designated damage pile.
  2. We know you have a good arm, but please refrain from throwing the darts. All NERF darts must be shot from a gun.
Honour Rules
  1. If another player says that they hit you, then you are hit. You may not have felt the hit, so take their word for it. Do not argue.
  2. If you are not sure if you hit someone, do not call it as a hit.
  3. If you are certain that you hit someone, call the hit. If the person that you hit wants to argue about whether or not they were hit — let it go and keep playing.
  4. Cheaters will make their own reputation. Don’t let a cheater ruin your Foam Fighters experience. Don’t waste your time arguing with them.
Combat Rules
  1. Do not start the battle until the main whistle blows. This means you must stay at your base until the whistle blows.
  2. Listen for the end-of-battle whistle, and when you hear it, stop play immediately.
  3. Play honest. If you are hit, you are either “dead” or “wounded”. Hits count as follows:
    1. If another player says that they hit you, then you are hit. You may not have felt the hit, so take their word for it.
    2. If you are not sure if you hit someone, do not call it as a hit.
    3. Only hits from the body down count. Hits to the head or face do not count.
    4. Hitting a gun does not count as a hit.
    5. There is no friendly fire. Shooting teammates on purpose, or by accident, does not count as a hit.
    6. Always look where you’re shooting. Blind firing is not permitted.
    7. When you are hit, say “hit” and raise your gun over your head. Players may not shoot another player if they are hit.
  4. When a player is hit, they must go back to the assigned spawn area and count to a certain number, with their back to the game, before returning.
